EAST CHINA TWP. Calvin "Bud" Delor, age 81, of East China Twp., died December 25, 2006.
He was born January 7, 1925 in St. Clair.
On August 10, 1947 Bud married Illa Emig in St. Clair, she preceded him in death in 2001.
Bud had life memberships with the American Legion Post 382, VFW, Local 120 40 & 8, and the Military Order of the Cootie.
He was a retired machinist and was formerly employed at Champion Bait.
He served with the U.S. Army during World War II.
He is survived by his children, Cheri (Tom) Oles, Charlene (Tom) Henderson, Colleen (Bill) Szyska, Carita (Don) Bremerkamp and Craig Delor; grandchildren, Jason Oles, Nicole Tackaberry, Candida Miskell, Joshua Zech, Blayn, Caitlyn and Trent Szyska and Justin Bremerkamp; greatgrandson, Calvin Oles; sister, Violet Smith; and many family and friends.
He was preceded in death by a son and daughterinlaw, Clark and Louanne Delor; daughter, Candace Zech; and brothers, Warren, Tom and Walt Delor.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, China Twp. Rev. Glenn Stone will officiate.
Visiting hours are 6 to 9 p.m. today.
