Edmund W. Nash, Brother of Poet, Dies in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, July 28 - Edmund W. Nash, Sr., 51, retired New York stockbroker and a brother of Ogden Nash, Baltimore poet, died in Union Memorial Hospital yesterday after an operation
Mr. Nash was born in New York and most of his business years were spent in Wall street. He was the son of Edward Strudwick Nash and attended Groton School.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Anne Steele Nash of Westport, Conn., and four children, Mrs. Arthur M. Dodge, Edmund W. Nash, Jr., John Francis Nash and David Chenault Nash.
Besides Ogden Nash, the broker leaves another brother, F. Aubrey Nash, and two sisters, Mrs. Douglas Gorman of Stevenson, Md., and Mrs. Nash McWilliam of New York.
Private funeral services will be held tomorrow at Greenmount Cemetery, Baltimore.
