CHARLESTOWN - Prestigiacomo, Mary Ann Garry, 47, died Sunday, July 7, 2013.

Mary Ann was a 1984 graduate of Providence High School, received a B.A. from Indiana University in 1988 and Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville in 1993. She was a practicing attorney from 1993 through 2011 and was currently the Controller for the City of New Albany. Mary Ann loved to fish, was an avid gardener and an incredible cook, but most of all, she loved spending time with her husband and sons.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Garry, and mother-in-law Ramona Thompson.

Survivors include her husband, two sons, her mother, a brother and his wife, a father-in-law and his wife, three sisters-in-law, and eight nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be noon-8 p.m. Wednesday and after 8 a.m. Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring St., New Albany, IN. Her funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church, New Albany with entombment to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.

Expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the Childrens' Educational Trust in care of Chase Bank.
