For hobbies, Kurt enjoyed listening to all types of music, favoring classical music,
as well as early jazz. Shortly, after the VCR came out, he had to get one, since it
now allowed him to own his own movie collection. He enjoyed movies as a child.
Computers were another passion and owning one, he learned all there was to know,
by reading about them. He became an expert at solving tough computer issues.
He would sometimes spend hours on one.
Early in 2006, he was diagnosed with cancer and the news wasn't good. It would
end his life later that Fall.
