Fabian Andres Ortiz, 17, our beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008 to join the Lord. Fabian was born on April 16, 1991 in Del Rio, Texas. Fabian had attended Wall schools and was currently a senior at Central High School who was athletic, quiet and always had a smile regardless of his mood. The love of his life was music, dancing and his red Dodge Magnum car. He was currently employed with Town and Country. Survivors include his father and mother, Jesse and Janie Trevino of San Angelo; Sisters, Virginia Herrera and husband, Jesse, Julie Lara and husband, Johnny and Annette Thompson all of San Angelo; brothers, Robert Lara, Jr., Joe Moralez and Jonathan Moralez all of San Angelo, Gilbert Moralez and Mark Moralez, both of San Antonio; grandmother, Dina Lozano of Del Rio; biological parents, Maria G. Moralez of San Angelo and Enrique Ortiz of Del Rio; aunt, Rachelle Berton of Hondo; very special niece and best friends, Jennifer Nicole Thompson, Nick Uriquidez and R.C. of San Angelo; nieces, Jessica Gutierrez, Marisela Duarte and Christy Herrera; nephews, Jesse Herrera, Jr., John Paul Herrera and David Lee Thompson along with numerous cousins and friends. Pallbearers for the service will be Gilbert Moralez, Joe Moralez, Mark Moralez, Jonathan Moralez, Jesse Herrera Jr., John Paul Herrera, David Lee Thompson and Robert Lara Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Nick Uriquedez, Gilberto Gutierrez, Ruben Duarte Jr., Kristopher Angel Gutierrez, Robert McArthur and D.J. Nunez. Rosary service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, in Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father David Herrera officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Fabian will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
