Logan Christopher Nobis, 12 of Exeter passed away Saturday September 24, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born January 1, 2004 the son of Christopher Roy and Libby Tennille Seyferth Nobis.
Logan enjoyed John Deere tractors, trains, and the ocean. He especially like riding in the gator with Grandpa, planting and water flowers with Papa, cooking and reading “Dora’s Picnic” with Mawmaw, and reading “Busy Days in Deerfield Valley” with Grandma. He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Jacksonville. Logan was diagnosed with MLD Metachromatic Leukodystrophy September 12, 2006.
He will be missed by all those whose lives he has touched.
Surviving are his parents Chris and Libby Nobis at home, sister Lakin at home, paternal grandparents Byron and Claudine Nobis of Bluffs, maternal grandparents Steve and Christi Bahney of Jacksonville and Glenn Frank and Marlene Seyferth of Markhill, Texas, aunt and godmother Jena (Carl) Hood, Cayden Hood, and Liam Hood all of Bluffs, uncle Stony (Stephanie) Seyferth, Kaleb Seyferth both of Markham, TX, godmother Crystal Shireman and his personal nurse and family friend Connie Condra.
Preceding him in death were his great grandparents Claude and Mary Bonham, Melvin and Kathryn Nobis, Andy V. and Nina Mae Holt and Frank and Mary Seyferth.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am Wednesday September 28, 2016 at Salem Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery near Bluffs. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4 until 7 pm at the Williamson Funeral Home in Jacksonville. Memorials can be made to the North Scott Fire District, Winchester EMS or Meredosia/Bluffs Rescue.
