Mayme E. Linton, 85, of Bissel Road, died Wednesday at the residence. She was born May 11, 1889, in Springfield, the daughter of John and Katie Walsh McDonald and was a member of the Third Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Linton is survived by her husband E. Lon Linton; daughters Phyllis Lauchner and Mrs. Mabel Mills; stepdaughters Mrs. Joanne Ritter and Mrs. Gladys Cash; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren.

Services at Ellinger-Kunz & Davis Funeral Home. Burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery.

The marriage of Mayme Davidson and E. L. Linton, Springfield, was solemnized Tuesday in the manse of Third Presbyterian church. The couple will be at home on a farm on Bissell road, Springfield. Mr. Linton is a retired farmer and Mrs. Linton is a practical nurse.
