URBANA - Jacob M. Kauffman, 65, of Urbana died at 11 a.m. Tuesday (Oct. 4, 2005) at home.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Embarras Cemetery, Redmon. The Rev. Vera Duncanson will officiate.
There will be no visitation.
Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Road, U, is handling arrangements.
Mr. Kauffman was born Nov. 2, 1939, in Nappanee, Ind., a son of Menno and Nora Yoder Kauffman. He married Sandra Wagner. He later married Katie Hollowell. She died Oct. 5, 2004.
Survivors include three sons, Jonathan Kauffman and James Kauffman, both of Rantoul, and Matthew Kauffman of Urbana; three daughters, Sherie Garrett of Zephyrhills, Fla., Connie Jessica Kauffman of Urbana and Linda Smith of Cleveland, Okla.; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
He was a member of the Philadelphia Church of God.
Memorials may be made to Provena Covenant Hospice.
