Frank Edwin Hendy Kister, 60, of Mexico, died Sunday, December 25, 2016 at SSM-St. Mary's Health Center.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Arnold Funeral Home in Mexico with burial to follow in Riverview Cemetery in Jefferson City. Visitation is Thursday from 12 noon till service time at the funeral home.
Edwin was born on Jan. 7, 1956 in Mexico, the son of Frank H. and Nancy H. (Hendy) Kister. He was a lifelong resident and graduate of Mexico High School.
He had been active in the Mexico Jaycees for many years and was an Eagle Scout.
He is survived by his sister Mary (Wayne) Goddard of Columbia and two nephews, John Goddard and James Goddard both of Columbia and friend Aaron Lauer of Mexico. He was preceded in death by both his mother and father.
Memorials may be made to the J.B. and Greeta B. Arthur Cancer Center in Mexico in care of Arnold Funeral Home.
