Karen Hope Lawman, age 78, of Springdale, Arkansas, formerly of North Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 in Branson, Missouri.
She was born January 5, 1938 in Eureka, Kansas to Harold Rex and Mildred H. (Speer) Lawman.
She completed college at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, and her Master's degree in social work from the University of Tennessee.
She served America's heroes for over 40 years at the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a nephew.
She is survived by Lola West; Scott Taliaferr;, a sister, Andrea Baldwin; a niece, a nephew and numerous cousins and friends.
Entombment will be private.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills, North Little Rock, Arkansas.
