Christian “Tatas” Raymond Rosales, 21, of Gonzales, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2017. He was born on December 15, 1995 in Salinas but grew up in Gonzales.

Christian was a believer in our Christ and attended New Harvest Christian Fellowship. He also attended Hartnell and was planning to go to a 4 year University to study movie production. Christian was a big sports fan. He loved the SF Giants, Raiders and Warriors. He also enjoyed taking pictures, going to Monterey beach, playing basketball with friends, going to the movies and listing to music.

He was preceded in death by his father Jose “Huero” Rosales and step father Jose Luis
Salazar.

Christian is survived by his Mother Renee Salazar; Brothers Jose “Huero” Rosales Jr, Adrian J. Rosales and Manuel Rosalez; Nephew Nehemiah Rosales; Also numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held 3:00pm to 9:00pm Friday, January 13, 2017 at Alta Vista Mortuary, 41 East Alisal Street, Salinas, CA 93901

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Hartnell College Student Center , 411 Central Avenue Blg. C, Salinas, CA 93901.

Burial will follow at Gonzales District Cemetery, 1000 Highway 101 South, Gonzales, CA
93926.

Rosales was shot as he was leaving a party early New Year’s day in the 1300 block of Arthur Street. He died at the scene.
