Donald E. Leuteritz, 88, of Indianapolis, IN, went to join the "ol' Boy upstairs", January 2, 2017. Donald was born in Pittsboro, IN on February 29, 1928 to the late Eugene E. and Crystal F. (Roseboom) Leuteritz.

After graduation from Brownsburg HS in 1946, he joined the Marines where he proudly served for 3 ½ years; he then enrolled in Navy Flight School, where he served an additional three months. After the military, he transitioned into skilled trades becoming a Pattern Maker for better than 30 years and retiring from Guide Lamp in Anderson, IN in 1988.

Don was an active man, who, among other things, enjoyed gardening, horse shoes, and dancing. In recent years, he spent many enjoyable times at the Moose Lodge, where "Twinkle Toes" was a member.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Evelyn (Jackson) Leuteritz; second wife, Rosemary (née Nevins) Thomas Leuteritz; and his third wife, Eva Jeanette (née Frey) Filbert Leuteritz; son, Gary Leuteritz; and step-grandson, Ricky Portman.

He is survived by son, Robert Leuteritz (Pat); stepsons, Ronald Thomas (Kim) and Larry Thomas (Melissa); stepdaughter, Margaret Humfleet (Dan); step-grandchildren: Sean, Ryan, and Kaylyn Thomas; one sister, Doris Ashe; two half-brothers, Jim Leuteritz and Frank Leuteritz; and grandson, Justin Bino in Kansas City.
