Lynn Lee was the daughter of Martha Myrtle Donley Hemstreet and Sherman Leland Hemstreet. "Lynnie" as her mother called her, a beautiful and beloved 4-year old, contracted dysentery along with her father and brother Sherman Leland "Junior" while on a family trip to Oklahoma. The others recovered but she died about a week later. Lynn's death was a spiritual turning point in her mother's life, and her strong faith in God has been a legacy to so many after her.
