Mrs. Linda Ray Vaughan Felkel, wife of Mr. Jake (J.T) Felkel, entered into rest on January 9, 2017 at her residence 414 Julia Avenue, North Augusta.
Linda was born in Savannah, GA to the late Henry Hartford and Emma Grace Clifton Ray. Before retirement, she worked for the City of Augusta Police Department as a payroll clerk. She was a member of Jericho Methodist, Cameron, SC.
Surviving with her husband, Jake (JT) Felkel, North Augusta, SC are four children: Sheila Craft, North Augusta, SC, Keith Vaughan (Bonnie), Martinez, GA, Joey D. Vaughan, North Augusta, SC and Marty Rivers (Tommy), Graniteville, SC; a sister, Jean Litsey, Atlanta, GA, a brother, Keith Ray, Savannah, GA, twenty-two grandchildren: Joshua Vaughan (April), N. Augusta, Brandon Craft (Heather), N Augusta, Kenneth Craft (Jamie Hagy), and Kayla McCully (Dylan), all of Grovetown, GA, Victoria Pate (Cory), Dearing, GA, Amber Vaughan (Stephen Newman) Augusta, GA, Raven Vaughan (Josh Beasley), Taylor Vaughan and Charlee Vaughan, all of Martinez, GA, Steven Vaughan (Mary), Graniteville, SC, Breanna Vaughan (Kyle Caldwell) Roebuck, SC, Hopelin Harris (Stephen), Emma Rivers, Kyla Rivers, Carly Rivers, and Joelee Lamar, all of Graniteville, SC, Patrick Camp, TN, Anthony Camp, GA, Ashton Randall, TN, Marteen Brown, IL, and Samuel and Selah Acosta, Californina and twenty-seven great grandchildren: Caden, Cameron, Colton, Jalen, Julian, Brookelynn, Adalyn, Bryleigh, Paisley, Nathan, Sissy, Halee, Landon, Mason, Tyler, Taylor, Bailey, Max, Jasper, Riley, Seth, Sarah, Stephen, Isabella, S.J., Elijah and Tyree.
She was predeceased by her ex-husband and friend, Carl M. Vaughan, Sr., a son, Carl M. Vaughan, Jr and a sister, Barbara Grace Ray.
A Celebration of Life Service will be on Wednesday at 2 o'clock in the Hatcher Funeral Home Chapel.
