Catherine Viehweg Clearman, 63, died Saturday, January 28, 2017 at her residence in Hattiesburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at St. Thomas Catholic Church with interment in Highland Cemetery to follow.
Catherine was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church and was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Shirley Viehweg.
She is survived by her husband, Robert "Rob" Clearman of Hattiesburg; a daughter Michelle (Trae) Vaughan of Chattanooga, TN; twin sister Barbi (Glenn) Hughes of Ocean Springs, sister, Carol Ann McGregor of Oak Grove, sister, Lisa (Frank "Scooter" ) Watts of Florence, MS; three brothers, Robert (Teresa) Viehweg of Sumrall, Karl Viehweg of Holly Springs, NC, Kurt (Kimmie) Viehweg of Oak Grove; two grandchildren, Ford and Bob Vaughan of Chattanooga, TN.
Visitation for Catherine will from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 31, 2017, with a Rosary to be said at 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Hattiesburg Chapel of Moore Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials in Catherine's name be directed to The Robert Packard Center for ALS Research, C/O Fund Johns Hopkins Medicine 550 N. Broadway 7th Floor, Baltimore, MD 21205.
