Born in Cecil OH she was a housekeeper with Towne House Retirement Home for 23 years and retired in 1990.
Resident in Fort Wayne since 1939, she was a member of Carroll Road Christian Fellowship. "She loved her church, praying and reading her Bible daily."
Survivors include her four daughters; sister, Luella Canfield of Ovid MI; seven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, Lavern "Boney", in 1986.
Services 1 pm Saturday with calling one hour prior at DO McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home 1320 E Dupont Road. Calling 5 to 8 pm. Friday at the funeral home. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery.
