Isabelle Angeline LaTour, 85, formerly of E Austin St. died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2007 at Chris Jensen Health Center surrounded by her loving family. Isabelle was born July 4, 1921 in Duluth to Joseph and Marguerite (Noll) Haller. She married Paul LaTour in Duluth on December 24, 1936. Isabelle worked at Independent Cleaners, the Spalding Hotel, St. Mary's Hospital and the Bakke Dental Lab. After retirement, Isabelle and Paul would winter in Mission, Texas. She was a member of St. John's Church and its Rosary Society. Isabelle loved her flower gardens. When anyone came to visit, Isabelle would drop what she was doing, and give them her full attention. She loved company, coffee and treats, but most of all, spending time with her family. Isabelle was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Marguerite; her brothers, George and John Haller; her sister, Audrey Hill; her son, Paul J. LaTour in 2003 and her husband, Paul H. LaTour in 2004. She is survived by her children, Barb (Ray) Erickson, Kathy (Denny) Tyo and George (Betty) LaTour all of Duluth; daughter in law, Judy LaTour, Duluth; her sister, Virginia Anderson of St. Paul, MN; her grandchildren, Bill, Steve, Paul, Debra, Jeff, Michelle, Mark, Renae, Rick, Bridget, Jodi, Tanya, Dean, Pete, Mike, Stacie, Wade and Mandy and 26½ great-grandchildren. Isabelle's family would like to thank the staff on Birch Lane at Chris Jensen for their compassionate care of their mother. VISITATION:5 p.m. with Wake Prayers at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Dougherty Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11am Wednesday at St. John's Church. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 E 2nd St. (218) 727-3555.
