On Sunday afternoon death came to Mrs. Louise Grashorn, nee Ruedebusch, at the fine old age of 84 years, 4 months, 15 days. Several weeks ago she had sustained a complicated fracture of the hip bone as the result of a fall, and did not recover. She had the most loving care at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert Wittke.

She was born Oct. 24, 1829 in Oldenburg, Germany. There she was married in 1849 to Henry Grashorn who preceded her in death in 1858. They came to the states in June 1874 and lived on a farm in town Hubbard.

She is survived by four children, one son, Carl G., in Greenwood and three daughters, Mrs. Meta Bruns, still in Germany, Mrs. August Sanson, Hot Springs, S. Dakota, and Mrs. Robt. Wittke of this city. Here she also leaves two brothers, Carl and August Ruedebusch, and 20 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Yesterday afternoon the funeral took place from the Wittke home to Graceland cemetery. Dr. H. Forkmann read the eulogy. To the sorrowing relatives we extend sincere sympathy.
