Margaret is survived by her eight children, David (Pamela), Nancy (Paul) Cranley, Gary (Susan), James (Pamela), Ronald (Carol), Laurel (Steve) Sly, Lois (Jessy) Hintz and Lisa (Tom) Gries; grandchildren, Kevin, Jerry (Kristy) and Eric Sam, Kristine, Brian (Amy) and Matthew Cranley, Marie (Joseph) Flanigan, Jessica (Stephan) Esser, and Jared and Jacob Sam; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Katie, Quinn, Maxwell, Abigail, Annalise, John, William, Samantha and Ivan; four brothers; and three sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; her great-grandchild, Bennet Flanigan; her parents; three brothers; and one sister.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5101 Schofield St., Monona, at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 22, 2018, with Father Chad Droessler presiding. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, with a reading of the Rosary at 6:30 p.m., and again at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass on Thursday. Entombment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
