Catherine was a homemaker and a member of St. George Catholic Church in New Baden, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Ottilia, nee Wolfersberger, Christ; a daughter, Phyllis Maberry; infants, Mary Beth, Dianne, Christine, and Thomas Kehrer; three sisters, Edna (Hap) Hulliung, Mildred (Cotton) Hoffmann, and Marie (Erwin) Kehrer; five brothers, Hubert (Carnation) Christ, Gilbert (Laura) Christ, Eugene Christ, Ray (Perry) Christ, and Alvin (Josephine) Christ; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ruth (Bill) Boad, Dolly (Ed) Christ, Rachel (Herman) Renth, Elmer (Margaret) Kehrer, Roland (Gladys) Kehrer and Russell Kehrer.
Surviving are her husband, Carl A. Kehrer whom she married on Feb. 16, 1949, in Mascoutah, Ill.; four children, Robert (Collette) Kehrer of New Memphis, Ill., Jane (Kent) Uhles of Okawville, Ill., Joseph (Dawn) Kehrer of New Memphis, Ill., and Anne Kehrer of New Memphis, Ill.; 11 grandchildren, Shannon Maberry, Brandon (fianc‚, Katie Blankenship) Maberry, Kevin (Carrie) Kehrer, Chris Kehrer, Kerry (special friend, Paige) Kehrer, Corrie Kehrer, Luke Uhles, Trenna (Kyle) Kehrer-Laux, Brant Kehrer, Katie Kehrer, and Ashtyn Kehrer; six great-grandchildren, Brennan, Markus, Brielle, Isabella, and Cohl Kehrer, and Denym Laux; a son-in-law, Eddie Maberry; two sisters-in-law, LaVerta Christ and Esther Kehrer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
