Elsie S. Linn (nee Beach), 85, of Elyria, died Saturday, February 9, 2008 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, Lorain.
She was born April 15, 1922 in Elyria and was a 1940 graduate of Elyria High School.
She was employed for ten years at Lorain County Bank and also at Bauer Dairy and Smith Dairy, both in Elyria. She was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. She had been active in East Carlisle P.T.A. and was a past president.
She enjoyed attending her grandchildren's school events. Other interests included rose gardening, cooking, baking, sewing and crocheting.
Elsie is survived by daughters, Deborah A. Putzier and Marla L. (Ray) Riley, both of Elyria; sons, Gregory E. (Colleen) Linn of LaGrange and Douglas M. (Nancy) Linn of Grafton; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandsons; nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald M. Linn in 2005; father, Allen Russell Beach in 1967; mother, Harriett Belle Beach (nee McFarland) in 1951; and brothers, Robert in 1920, Allen, Jr. in 1944, Kenneth in 1956, Donald in 1966 and Russell in 1996.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 12, 2008, at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 300 Third Street, Elyria. The Rev. Dr. Elaine McCoy will officiate.
Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
