He served with honor in the US Navy during WW II and Korea. George owned and operated the Elbo Room for 42 years and the Hitching Post for over 10 years. Survived by his son, Gary (Lisa) Brockman; daughter, Nancy (Marty) Pflum; grandchildren, Ashley Brockman, Tony Pflum and the late, Courtney Pflum and great-grand-children, Zoie Pflum, Jack and Colin Seals.
Visitation will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at St. Ann Church, Hamilton. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM. Burial in St. Michael Cemetery, Brookville Indiana.
