Benjamin David Rueger, 29, of Evansville, Ind., passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017.
He was born December 10, 1987, in Evansville, to Jeffrey and Lisa (Wargel) Rueger.
He was a loving father, son and brother and a talented baseball and football player who enjoyed all sports. Ben was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and he enjoyed poker and horse racing. He was a very kind and loving person who will be missed by his friends and family.
Ben is survived by his daughters, Sophie and Chloe; parents, Jeff and Lisa Rueger; sisters, Katie Smith (Andy) and Valarie Lewis (Shawn); grandparents, David and Dorothy Rueger and Carol Wargel; nieces and nephews, Adelyn and Harper Lewis and Jackson and Charlotte Smith; and many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, March 13, 2017, at Alexander North Chapel officiated by Rev. Cliff Herring, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit 2 to 7 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund for his daughters at any Old National Bank or NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Evansville Chapter.
