Fred was the son of Peter and Elizabeth Olemacher Euler of Germany with siblings: Peter, Christina, Frank, William, Helen, David, Daniel, George, and Charles. He was a farmer with an eighth grade education. Fred married Martha Shedron on 28 August 1892, and they had Howard, Norris, Cecil, and Glen. Martha died in 1934. Fred died from a coronary thrombosis at the age of 90 years 4 months and 15 days.
