Andreas was born on 3 Mar 1771 in Nieder Ausmaas, Culm, Prussia to Peter Richert (ca 1730-4 Jul 1774) and Trincke Unrauen (23 Nov 1742-30 Oct 1807). He married Ancke Sparlings on 1 Jun 1795 and they made their home in Gross Deutsch Konopath, Schwetz, West Prussia. He emigrated to South Russia in 1832 with his wife and two orphan children: Helena 17 and Heinrich 16. Also emigrating were his daughter Sarah and son-in-law Benjamin Voth with their 4 children and Andreas' son, David with wife Sarah and son Heinrich. He settled with his wife and son-in-laws's family in Friedensdorf, Molotschna Colony, South Russia where he was a church leader and a farmer. He died on 24 Apr 1845 in Alexanderwohl.
