No 2/1821. On 12th January 1821 in the evening at ½ past 9 o'clock died here and 14th Jan in the afternoon one o'clock buried Nikolaus Bitsch, local citizen and master linen weaver here. His father was [Johann Peter Bitsch? incorrect], local citizen and farmer in Bonsweiher near Weinheim, the mother was named Margaretha. He was born 12 May 1764 in Bonsweiher and died here and was therefore 56 years 7 months and 29 days. Witnesses at the burial were Jacob Kaufmann and Peter Hath. J L Erb Pastor
