She was born to Carl and Della (Witter) Chapman. On March 26, 1936, she married Clifford Ransbottom, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are a son, Dennis, Celina; two daughters, Sue, Elida, and Peggy (Don) Wrinkle, Tampa, Fla.; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a sister and brother-in-law, Arline (Ivan) Hall.
She retired from Celina Insurance Group after six years as a cashier and also was a clerk at the former Rankins Department Store, Celina, for 13 years. She graduated from Celina High School and was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church.
