• Services for Dina Blanca Luz Quijano, 83, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Griffin Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Don Waters officiating. Interment will be at McAlister Cemetery, Overbrook.

Born Oct. 23, 1918, in San Salvador, El Salvador, to Salvador Rivera Coste and Marie Delores Quijano, she died Dec. 19, 2001, at the local hospital.

She moved from El Salvador to Ardmore 10 years ago and was a retired registered nurse. She was a member of the Southwest Pentecostal Church of God. She was preceded in death by a brother, Edmundo Rivera.

Survivors include three sons, Carlos H. Gutierrez, El Salvador, Gustavo A. and Rafael O. Herrera, both of Ardmore; three daughters, Sonia E. Smith and Linda S. Harris, both of Ardmore, and Alma V. Martinez, El Salvador; three brothers, Carlos Barahona and Jorge Rivera, El Salvador, and Hector Roman, Ardmore; three sisters, Susana Rivera, San Francisco, Margarite Rivera and Alicia Rivera, El Salvador; 17 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Bearers will be Troy Oldham, Gustavo, Rafael and Joshua Herrera, Jose A. Orellana, Herb Upchurch and Oscar Interiano. Honorary bearers are Claudio Duran, Gary Lette and Juan Gatierrez.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Cross Timbers Hospice.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral hom
