Toledo Blade Obituary published July 18, 1990 reads:
Edmund Krzeminski, age 70 years, of Secor Rd, Lambertville, MI., died Monday in Flower Memorial Hospital.
A WWII Navy Veteran, he served with distinction on the USS Enterprise in the Battle of Midway and the Solomons. He transferred to the Carrier USS Rudyard Bay serving in the Palau Campaign, the Phillipines, and the South China Sea and was with the 3rd Fleet in a killer typhoon on December 18,1944.
He was a Metal Fabricator for Art Iron for 3 years retiring in 1981. Previously he was a Supervisor for Schemenauer Manufacturing, 18 years.
He was a member of the Lambertville VFW Post #9656 and the Sherman Osborne Post of the American Legion in Temperance; the USS Enterprise Association; the USS Rudyard Bay SVE-81 Association #48 and the Guadacanal Campaign Veterans.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley; sons, Edmund of Petersburg MI, and Jay of Toledo OH; daughters, Mrs. Barb Pagel of Petersburg MI and Mrs. Joyce Conkin of Sheboygin, WI; step-daughters, Mrs. Jackie Carie, of Houghton Lake MI, Mrs. Lyneete Goins and Mrs. Linda Roberts of Toledo; sister, Mrs. Philomene Koltoniak of Petersburg MI; 4 grandchildren and 9 step-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Bedford Funeral Chapel, 8300 Lewis Ave., Temperance MI, Wednesday after 7 p.m. where VFW Services will be held Thursday at 7:30 p..m. and Funeral Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. with Interment at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
