Edwin H. Schlarman, 81, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2016. He was born in Corning KS, May 2, 1935, the son of Henry and Elizabeth Schlarman. He graduated from Centralia High School in 1953. Edwin was a firefighter for the City of Topeka for 25 years, retiring at the rank of captain in 1991.
Edwin was preceded in death by his son, Dennis Schlarman and two brothers, Elmer and Eldon Schlarman. He is survived by his daughter, three grandchildren, and his sister.
Interment will be at Rochester Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Hospice in Topeka.
