Fort Bend Herald, May 2, 2017:

Bessie Fagan, 88, of Rosenberg, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017. She was born on September 7, 1928 in Hungerford to Joe and Filomena (Kubitza) Adamik. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of America Court #1476, the Altar Society, a long term Perpetual Adoration Chapel participant, and AARP. She worked at Imperial Sugar in Sugar Land and retired from Kroger in Rosenberg. She loved dancing, gardening, playing dominoes, and was an avid sports fan.

Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Robert Fagan; daughters, Peggy Savage and husband, Rick, of Yorktown, Joan Calhoun and husband, Jimmy, of Burnet, and Doris Pospisil and husband, David, of Manvel; 6 grandchildren, Trey Savage and wife, Lyndi, Richard Vacek and wife, Beth, Grace Salcido and husband, Manuel, Lisa Vacek, Jessica Pospisil, and Martin Pospisil; 9 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter; 3 sisters, her twin, Cecilia Borowiak of Rosenberg, Martha Patak of Houston, and Vlasta Raska of Spring.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers and 5 sisters, and 1 grandson.

A funeral mass will be held Thursday, May 4, 2017, at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with Father Bill Bartniski presiding. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday evening, May 3, 2017, in the Chapel at Davis Greenlawn Funeral Home from 5-8 P.M. with a rosary at 7 P.M.

Pallbearers will include Rick Savage, Jimmy Calhoun, David Pospisil, Trey Savage, Manuel Salcido, and Martin Pospisil.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1416 George, St. Rosenberg, Tx 77471.
