Mrs. Sens was born on April 3, 1889, in Preston, Fillmore County to Charles and Ernestine (Doersch) Burmeister. She married Fred Sens on August 14, 1945, in Beauford. She was a homemaker and member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
She was survived by four step-daughters: Cleo Francis of North Mankato, Bea Cole of Mankato, Pauline Freese of Bloomington, and Hazel "Tootie" (Mrs. Allen) Jackson of Suisan, CA; four step-sons: Edward Sens of Brainerd, DeWayne Sens of Maple Plain, Gerald Sens and Garfield Sens--both of North Mankato; 26 step grandchildren; 47 step-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1967, her parents, brothers, and sisters.
