Laura O. Sens, 96, 941 Marsh Street, passed away on Friday, March 14, 1986, at Immanuel-St. Joseph's Hospital in Mankato. Services were at Woodland Hills Chapel with the Reverend Duane O. Salness of Bethlehem Lutheran Church officiating.
Mrs. Sens was born on April 3, 1889, in Preston, Fillmore County to Charles and Ernestine (Doersch) Burmeister. She married Fred Sens on August 14, 1945, in Beauford. She was a homemaker and member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
She was survived by four step-daughters: Cleo Francis of North Mankato, Bea Cole of Mankato, Pauline Freese of Bloomington, and Hazel "Tootie" (Mrs. Allen) Jackson of Suisan, CA; four step-sons: Edward Sens of Brainerd, DeWayne Sens of Maple Plain, Gerald Sens and Garfield Sens--both of North Mankato; 26 step grandchildren; 47 step-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1967, her parents, brothers, and sisters.
