Mary is survived by her son, John Kurek of Middletown, daughter, Donna Santamaria of Clinton, brother, John David of Hartford, two grandchildren, Michelle Santamaria and Christine Santamaria, and great-grandson, Jaxon Kaman. She was predeceased by brothers, Thomas David, Jr. and Stanley David, and sisters Anna David and Helen Zawalinski.∼Mary Rose (David) Kurek, 87, of Middletown, wife of the late John "Pete" Kurek, died on Thursday, May 4, 2017 in Westbrook. She was born September 12, 1929 in Portland, daughter of the late Thomas and Anna (Bitzkowski) David. Her Funeral Liturgy will be held on Monday (May 8th) at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Church, Middletown. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
