Lucille was born in Los Angeles to John and Clara McNeil with two brothers and three sisters. Lucille attended Incarnation Catholic Grade School in Glendale, CA where she first met her future husband Tom in the 7th grade. Lucille graduated from Immaculate Heart High School in 1951 and married her sweetheart Tom on August 23, 1952, now 64 years. Lucille was a beautiful, gentle, sensitive, loving, wife, mother and devout Catholic. She is survived by her husband Tom of Apple Valley, son Thomas G. Johnston and daughter-in-law Alla of Big Bear Lake, CA, son Ronald J. Johnston and daughter-in-law Katherina of Leesburg, Virginia, daughter Leah A. McCray and son-in-law Rodney of Lucerne Valley, CA, son Christopher Johnston of Cedar City, Utah, her sister Frances Richmond of West Hills, CA, 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her 2 brothers, 2 sisters, and grandson Scott Wood. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Rosaleen M. Burgess for her many days of extraordinary care, help, and personal attention to and for Tom and Lucille.
