Mr. Yurk was born in Russia October 23, 1882, and was married to Miss Mary Yurk in his native land in the year 1902. It was three years later that Mr. and Mrs. Yurk set sail for America and came directly to Sheboygan where they had made their home ever since.
Survivors include his wife and six children, Christ., Jr, Marie, Henry, Clarence, Clara and Alex, all living at home. There is also a sister who still lives in Russia.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. from the home and 2 p.m. from St. Paul Lutheran church. Rev. Ed Schmidt will officiate and interment will be in Lutheran cemetery. - The Sheboygan Press, April 12, 1924
