Mrs. A. L. Gasper Claimed by Death
Funeral services for Mrs. A. L. Gasper, age 58, who died in Austin, Friday, June 30, were held at the Chriesman church Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock with Rev. A. S. Broaddus officiating. Interment was in the Chriesman cemetery with Harvey-Schiller Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Flossie Gehrels Gasper was born May 5, 1886, in Burleson County and had lived here all her life. She was married to A. L. Gasper on Feb. 9, 1913, and a daughter and two sons were born to the couple. They resided on their farm in the Chriesman community and reared their family. Mrs. Gasper had been in ill health for several years.
Surviving are her husband, A. L. Gasper, the daughter, Mrs. Mary Whited of Chriesman, the sons, Johnie, who is with the Medical Detachment, stationed at Tuscon, Arizona, and Oscar, who is with the Medical Detachment, stationed at Camp Butner, North Carolina, and two grandchildren."
