Lloyd Bierbaum 1914-1985

Lloyd Bierbaum, 70, Clearbrook, died Saturday, April 13, at St. Lukes Hospitals in Fargo.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Clearbrook with the Rev. Paul Knutson officiating. Burial was at Silver Creek Cemetery, Clearbrook, under the direction of the Cease Funeral Home of Bagley.
Lloyd was born August 11, 1914 at Clearbrook, the son of Edward and Clara Bierbaum. He grew up near Eyota, later being employed in Alaska and Greenland. He married Alice Engebretson on September 7, 1935 in Bemidji. He worked road construction in Minnesota, retiring 7 years ago. He was a retired member of the Clearbrook Fire Department and was a former member of the Local 49ers.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, LeRoy of Silver Bay, Donovan of Edina; three daughters, Cynthia (Mrs. Robert) Malwitz of Grand Rapids, Rose Marie (Mrs. Elton) Pederson of Miles City, Montana, Joni (Mrs. Steven) Hagen of Clearbrook; 11 grandchildren and a great grandchild; two sisters, Evelyn Peterson of McAllen, Texas, Blanch Mund of St. Paul; five brothers, Wesley and Curtis, both of Clearbrook, Wayne of Walker, Keith of Steilacoom, Washington, Vincent of Mercedes, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
