Charles L. Deike Sr., age 89, died Thursday, December 7, 2000. He was born December 16, 1910 in Delaware Twp., the son of Charles and Amelia (Warczinsky) Deike. He married Martha (Warczinsky) on March 23, 1935 in Covington KY.
He was a member o the St, Johns Luthern Church, Palms and a life long area farmer.
He is survived by his wife Martha, son Charles Deike Jr., of Vassar; two daughers, Miss Marjorie Deike and Miss Doris Deike both of Cass City; daughter-in-law, Mrs. Aileen Deike of Deckerville, six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, five sisters, Mrs. Bertha Regentia, Mrs. Amelia Jones, Mrs. Marie Jones, Mrs. Helen Amey, all of Deckerville, and Mrs. Elizabeth Smith.
He is preceded in death by one son, Eugene on December 16, 1994 two brothers Emil and Frederick and three sister Mrs. Martha Maryicsin, Mrs. Ann Schroder and Mrs Augusta Voltz.
