SR. DOMINICA BORGERDING, OSB Sr. Dominica Borgerding, OSB, Convent of St. Benedict, died Monday after an illness of several months. Funeral services will be Thurs day at the convent. The office of the dead will be chanted at 8 a.m. followed by a solemn requiem mass at 9 a.m. Burial will be made in the convent cemetery. Sister was born July 14, 1868, in New Munich. She entered the scholasticate of the convent Sept. 1, 1886. On July 10, 1888, she received the habit of the sisters and the following year, July 11, she made her first vows. After teaching in Stillwater for eight years she became directress of St. Benedict's Academy and later of the College of St. Benedict, an office she filled until 1918. For many years she was speech in structor at the college. Surviving is a sister, Mrs. John Spieker of Minneapolis.
