SISTER ADELTRUDIS BORGERDING Sister Adeltrudis Borgerding, a member of the Order of St. Benedict, St. Joseph, and teacher in the art department at Cathedral High school, St. Cloud, the past 22 years, died January 19 at the St. Cloud hospital where she had been a patient for the past two months. Sister Adeltrudis was born at St. Mary's of the Pocks, Ind., on January 31, 1891 and entered the scholasticate at St. Benedict's in September, 1906. Shortly after her profession of vows In 1910 she was engaged in work In the art department of the Academy for 13 years. Several of the 40 years of her religious life were also spent in teaching in the parochial schools of. St. Bernard's, St Paul, and St. Peter's at Browerville. The funeral services were held today. At the solemn requiem mass at 9 o'clock the celebrant was Rev. Roderic Albers, OSB, a relative, assisted by: Rev Frederic Wiechman, also a relative of the deceased and Rev. Alphonse Kremer. Surviving the deceased are three brothers and three sisters: Joseph Borgerding, St. Cloud; Herman, Sauk Centre; Bernard, Freeport; Agnes. Lismore; Mr.;. J. H. Steinke, Eden Valley and Mrs. Joseph Overman, Albany.
