Death of Henry F. Burket
Henry F. Burket, an old settler of Lee County, died at his home in the village of Franklin Grove, at 8 o'clock Friday night, Jan. 18, 1901 of consumption, of which he had been a sufferer for several years. He was 74 years old having been born in Sinking Valley, Pa., Sept. 15, 1827. In 1847 he came from Blair county, Pa., and settled in Lee county, which has since been his home. He leaves a wife who is in ill health; also five sons and four daughters -- Blair, Lee, Orr in Nebraska, Harry in Iowa and Mark in Franklin Grove; Mrs. Oscar Smith of Nachusa, Mrs. James Gitt and Mrs. Sadie --of Nebraska and Mrs. Ida Calhoun in Iowa.

Henry F.
