Mary Beth Beranek, 52, of Bloomer passed away Saturday, February 17, 2007, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire from complications due to diabetes.
Mary Beth was born on October 21, 1954, in Chippewa Falls to Otto and Mildred (Michels) Beranek. Her hobbies were cooking, gardening and collecting antiques. Beth married Roger Jacobs on May 15, 1980.
She is survived by two children, Adam of Shell Lake and Amanda (special friend, Matt Mikula) of Tilden; mother, Mildred Beranek of Bloomer; brother, Terry (Mary A.) Beranek of Tilden; sisters, Patricia (Richard) Schneider of Bloomer, Mary Anderson of Bloomer, Anne Burroughs of Stevens Point, Joan (Fred) LaGesse of Bloomer, Therese Hansen of Bloomer, Rose Lueck of Bloomer, Rita Stewart of Bloomer, Jane (Mark) Henley of Williamsburg, Va., and Nicki (Michael) Coss of Fort Drum, N.Y.; two grandchildren, Ethan and Matthew; many nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts.
She is preceded in death by her father, Otto Beranek; and one sister, Philomena, in infancy.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2007, at the Schriver Funeral Chapel, Bloomer, with Father James Arthur officiating. Private burial will be at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, Tilden.
Friends may call on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral chapel.
