Daughter of Garrett Cahill and Mary Gorman. She married David Gorman in 1896.

Obituary in the Advocate of Nov. 28, 1929: MRS. CATHERINE GORMAN. The death occurred suddenly on October 25 of Mrs. Catherine Gorman, at her residence, Tom-street, Yarrawonga. Mrs. Gorman was born in the Kilmore district, but at an early age moved to Yarrawonga, where her family were among the pioneers. After her marriage with Mr. David Gorman, she resided in Berrigan, N.S.W. After a few years there they moved to Mulwala, where she lived until three years ago, when she moved to Yarrawonga. She leaves two sons and two daughters to mourn their loss—John C., David F., Mary and Kitty—also two brothers and one sister—Mr. P. Cahill (Flemington), Mr. J. Cahill (Elwood), and Miss M. Cahill (Yarrawonga). The funeral to the Yarraonga Cemetery was the largest seen for some time. The coffin was carried by six nephews: Messrs. R. N., John A., John I. Gorman, and J. F., J. J., and T. G. Cahill. Fr. Mahony said the prayers at the grave. R.I.P.

Wills and Estates in The Age of Mar. 11, 1930: Catherine Gorman, late of Yarrawonga, widow, who died on 25th October last, left by will dated 11th December, 1928, real estate valued at £1200 and personal property valued at £2640 to her daughters.
