FUNERAL OF JOHN P. BASSLER.
Funeral services for John Peter Bassler were held Monday morning at 8:30 o'clock, at the Bolce funeral home, and 9 o'clock at St. Joseph's church, where a solemn mass of requiem was celebrated by the Rev. Nicholas Lauer, with the Rev. E. A. Ercolani, deacon, and the Rev. William L. Martin, sub-deacon. Interment was made in St. Joseph's cemetery, the Rev. Father Martin officiating at the committal service.

Bearers were Fred Sheridan, Niles Ducas, Herman Brady, Louis Rothmeyer, Fred Covel, and Albert Karner.

The services were largely attended and there was a profusion of floral tributes.

Among those form out of town in attendance were: Charles Bassler, Ballston Spa; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bassler, Castille, N. Y.; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Bassler and daughter, South Schenectady; Mr. and Mrs. Martin Miner, Syracuse; Mr. and Mrs. A. Miner, Miss Rose Miner, Utica; Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Endries, Marjorie Endries, Smyrna; Mrs. Broughan, George and Mildred Broughan, Schenctady; Mrs. Frank Riley and Miss Mary Boyle, Scotia.
