Colbert was born November 18, 1911 to Arrena and William Wilkins in Bradenton, FL. He received Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Florida and worked for Owens-Illinois, Toledo, OH before retiring in 1975. He was deacon emeritus of Groesbeck Baptist Church; passed away on June 20, 2008; Age 96; Residence Fairfield; Visitation will be Monday at Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Ave., Mt. Healthy from 1 to 2PM. Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 2PM. Donations may be sent to Groesbeck Baptist Church, 3551 Poole Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45251.
