BRUNS--Andrew Bruns
Andrew Bruns, 61, of Columbus died Thursday at Lincoln Veterans Hospital.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, with the Rev. Bruno Savage officiating. Burial, with military services, will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Sunday at McKown Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited at 6:45 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Bruns, born Sept. 28, 1919 in Duncan, married Alphosa M. Kush. The couple lived in Columbus.
A a [sic] veteran of World War Two, he was a private in the 561st Field Artillery in Germany, France and Belgium and recipient of five campaign stars.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Janice Harris, Atlanta, Ga.; his mother, Mrs. Bertha Bruns, Columbus; one grandson; two sisters, Mrs. Ed (Lorene) Allison and Mrs. Marie Muhle, both of Columbus; a brother, Clarence Bruns, Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his father and wife.
