Lorene Dorothy Honeycutt, 94, of Lake Jackson, Texas quietly passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at her residence in Lake Jackson, Texas. She was born on Wednesday, March 21, 1923, the youngest of three daughters and two sons to Charles Henry in Bixby, Oklahoma to Charles Henry and Lena Bieri.

Lorene was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of and taught high school Sunday School at Gulf Prairie Presbyterian Church in Jones Creek. She loved dogs and always had one by her side. She she was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed sewing clothing and crafts at home. Lorene also enjoyed volunteering at Sea Center of Texas.

Lorene is preceded in death by her father, Charles Henry Knoche and and mother Lena Knoche of Bixby Oklahoma, her husband Floyd William Honeycutt of Freeport, Texas. She is survived by one son, Mark, one grandson and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
