Miriam Semon arrived on December 12, 1920 and left us on October 1, 2010.
She was raised in Seattle where she met and married Lee Semon, a student at the University of Washington. After Lee's return from WW II she made her home in Yakima. For the last 30 years Miriam and Lee have split the years between Yakima and Palm Desert. Regardless of the location Miriam was an avid knitter creating literally hundreds of blankets for Project Linus; a non-profit organization that distributes hand-made blankets to children in need. Miriam proudly recognized her 69th anniversary with Lee just days before her passing. …(Partial Obituary)

Miriam A. Semon, 89, of Yakima died Friday in Yakima.
Mrs. Semon was born in Seattle. Survivors include her husband, Lee Semon Jr. of Yakima; two sons, Skip Semon and Ted Semon, both of Yakima; a brother, Stanley Stamm of Seattle; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Keith & Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel in Yakima.
