Thomas Charles Fletcher, a resident of this city practically all his life, died Wednesday [June 25, 1930] at 1:30 p.m. at St. Mary's Hospital in East St. Louis, after an illness of about three weeks.
Mr. Fletcher was born in St. Clair County July 24, 1868, the son of the late William Fletcher [and Julia Rigdeway]. He was 61 years 11 months and 1 day old at the time of his death.
He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Bertha Millet and two brothers, John J. and Arthur Fletcher all of this city. He had made his home with Mrs. Millet for many years.
funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 o'clock from Schroeppel Undertaking Co. funeral home. Rev. Wm. H. Poole will officiate. Burial will be made in the Glenwood Cemetery.
