He retired Feb. 19 of this year after working for the Santa Fe Railway for 52 years. He was a member of the Church of the Assumption.
Survivors include the widow, Mary, of the home; two sons, John L. of the home, Jay of 4545 W. 17th; three daughters, Mrs. Vern Barrow, Route 2, Mrs. John M. Davis Jr. and Miss Florence Rollheiser, both of Kansas City; one brother, Joseph B. of Chicago; two sisters, Mrs. John P. Heim, 2223 Crest Dr., and Mrs. John P. Fitzgibbons, Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of the Assumption, with burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery. The body will lie in state at Brennan Funeral Home from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Parish rosary will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
